programs and learninig environments

We two seperate programs to cater for our 3-4 year old age group and 4-5 year old age group. Our programs are created and designed weekly by our lead educators, ensuring to cater to individual abilities whilst providing continuous opportunities for cognitive, social, emotional and physical development.

Waratahs

The 4-5 year old program is what our pre-schoolers are introduced to in their final year of care before starting kindergarten. Therefore this program has a very strong focus surrounding school readiness and easing the pre-schoolers into a routine that will greatly benefit them into their transition to school. Throughout their year in the Waratahs program our pre-schoolers continue to develop and build upon the fundamental skills learnt in their previous years of life as well as introducing new skill sets. The preschoolers will have opportunities to engage in many activities such as  literacy, numeracy and creative arts experiences. There is also a strong focus on STEM based activities which supports the preschoolers to develop basic science, technology, engineering and mathematical skills.

Bottle Brush

The 3-4 year old program focuses on building friendships and social and emotional wellbeing. If your child will be attending the service for two years, this is the program they will be introduced into for their first year with us. Through this program our pre-schoolers are encouraged to build strong and trusting connections with both the educators and their peers to grow a strong sense of belonging within the centre environment. The pre-schoolers are provided daily with multiple opportunities to learn, grow and develop different skill sets through many areas such as social, emotional, cognitive, fine motor and gross motor skills through both planned and spontaneous activities and physical play. For your child's second year with us - the year before they start kindergarten, they will be transitioned into our Waratahs program.

Learning Environments

Our outdoor environment provides even more opportunities for our preschoolers to develop their skill sets within different areas such as gross motor skills through the use of different spaces and resources. Our outdoor activities also change daily to ensure they stay relevant to the current interests of our preschoolers. These areas include:
